You’ll enjoy peaceful tamarack bogs, rolling meadows and deep forestlands as you pedal through sparsely populated Price County. On the quiet county highways and backroads of the picturesque southern half of the county, you will see many of the original homesteads built by the hardy settlers who farmed this rugged land a century ago. In the northern half of the county, you will find less open land and much more dense forests, including some magnificent stands of white pine. Make sure you plan your route so that you have an opportunity to enjoy the many small towns scattered throughout the county—the great food and friendly people will likely be some of the most memorable parts of your ride.
