The 8-mile Round Lake Trail will transport you back in time. The trail begins near a historic logging dam and continues through some of the oldest stands of hardwoods in all the Northwoods. A variety of terrain and great views of Round Lake and Tucker Lake make this a wonderful ride. A national forest parking fee is required to park in the lot located off Forest Road 144. The daily fee can be paid at the trailhead. An annual sticker can be purchased at the Forest Service office on Highway 13 in Park Falls on weekdays.
This trail is closed annually from March 15 to May 1 during the spring thaw. Use of the trail during this time will cause damage to the trail surface.
