If you like a lot of relief in your landscape, this is the trail for you. This 9-mile mowed grass surface trail, named for Wisconsin’s highest geographical point, offers plenty of challenges to mountain bikers with its unique topography. The entire trail prohibits motorized traffic. Take a break from the bike and stop by Timm’s Hill County Park. Climb the eleven flights of stairs to view the Northwoods from the top of the observation tower. It’s one of the best views in all of Wisconsin. The connecting Timm’s Hill National Trail continues south 8 miles to the Rib Lake Area Trail in Taylor County. The gentle rolling hills in the area are also great for touring bicyclists.
