The Deep Lake Trail is a gorgeous trail that runs along the Wisconsin River, not far from its headwaters. It is part of the Vilas County Trail System and is marked and maintained as a designated mountain bike trail. Take Highway 45 north of Eagle River to Highway G, then west approximately 1 1/4 mile to Croker Road. Turn north on Croker Road for approximately 2 1/4 miles. A parking area is located on the west side of the road.
