This is a terrific trail in the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. The Madeline Trail is located just 2 miles southeast of Woodruff on Highway 47, then east on Highway J and then 2 miles north on Rudolph Road. The Madeline Trail has four marked trails ranging in length from 3 to 5 1/2 miles. You’ll find some nice lake scenery along this trail. A State Trail Pass is required for the trail.
